We are Georgetown University’s first and only a cappella group for women and gender minorities! We've been singing together for over 30 years, throughout the District of Columbia and the Georgetown community.

 

The GraceNotes co-host the D.C. A Cappella Festival (DCAF), one of the region’s most exciting a cappella shows. Taking place over two weekends in November, DCAF showcases some of the best a cappella talent on the east coast, inviting groups from universities all along the Atlantic to share their music in Georgetown’s famous Gaston Hall.

 

Recent highlights have included performances at the White House, Vice President’s Residence, Kennedy Center, Pentagon, for the Chinese Ambassador, for H.E., Kofi Annan, and a performance at Georgetown’s campus in Doha, Qatar. The GraceNotes sing a range of music from rock to oldies and modern pop. Our latest album, State of Grace, was released in Fall 2013!
